Only the basic information is available to the student, however, but opportunities for outside learning present themselves throughout the text via website links embedded in images and the exhaustive list of references following each chapter to direct the cerebral student to more advanced research in the field. Additionally, the inclusion of chapters dedicated to pharmacogenomics and customized cancer therapy are short but wonderful sections to guide the student along a directed path toward future studies and vocations.
